Battary light on

    Charging system works fine but I can't turn the light off,any thoughts?

    Are you sure its working fine? Id get the battery load tested at Autozone or some other parts store.

    Lights, 3in lift, tires/ wheels, being awesome
    Take a volt meter and test the cable on the alternator to see if its putting out at least 13.8 volts if not replace it

    Battery checks out fine and the alternator is putting out 13.9 volts but the check battery light is still on?? Any other idea's.

    We'll there's got to be a loose connection some where or else it wouldn't be on

    3 inch lift. bluetooth stereo. blue transparent skulls shift knobs
    find a near dead battery that will start your truck, put it in and see what the output voltage is. should be over 14

    Found the problem, it was a broken wire on the alternator pig-tail connection. This was found under the wire sheething. If anyone has this problem, check there first.
