Always preferred the look of stock wheels to anything aftermarket.

Is there a write up on how to do this on here? Sounds like a good project for next weekend...

Thanks. I figured someone had already thought of the idea to use a TRD-like Red in the logo. It was a pain doing it freehand, but I think the results were worth it.

All I did was removed the wheels. cleaned them as good as I could, then taped around the edge of the wheel. I just put shop rags on the rest of the tire. I used Dupli-Color wheel paint. It took about 1 1/2 cans for me. I did a few coats on everything.

For the red in the logo, I used Dupli-Color Toyota Champion Red touch-up paint. It comes with a small brush built in to the cap.

I've read where others have used fine grit wet-sand prior to painting, but I just cleaned and dried, nothing else.

Its easy to get the painters tape in under the edge of the rim. Just lay rags or anything else over the rest of the tire to prevent overspray.

Dont forget to tape off the valve stem, and finally, there are a few spots you need to spray from the inside/back of the wheel so the area through the spokes is black also.
