Does anyone else have a bad blind spot making left turns another word you lose the road on that side until you are almost finished with your turn? Any fixes for this out there.

No, when I start my turn I lose sight of the left side (The Line for my lane) of the road I have to lean Right to find the road.

The A-pillar is pretty large. It's sometimes hard to see around.

    No.

    Are you short?

You may be sitting too far forward. You should be able to see through your turn in the side window.

    You have 3 options:
    1. Do what J Edgar Hoover did: Only make right turns
    2. Go to Pepboys and buy a 2.95 stick on mirror
    3. Turn your head

Not sure there’s a solution for A pillar location except to move your head, adjust your seat position, or both.

I have the same problem (I am short too) I find myself actually looking under the mirror to see the curb/lane. I am going to be investigating the feasibility of putting spacers (or another apparatus) in to raise the seat. If it works I will let you know..lol

When I drove a school bus they were very emphatic that we should 'move around' to view the mirrors.
There was a lady that won the 'Bus Rodeo' competition every year. You could not see her in her seat. She only used her mirrors.

Also, how do you set your side mirrors?
    I have heard 2 ways.
    1) Set the mirror so you see a very small part of the side of your vehicle.
A friend in Traffic School said they told her this one. I do not do it. It is supposed to remove the blind spot on the passenger side.
    2) Adjust the mirror away and outward from the above.

Lean forward to look around the A-pillar entering the turn, and as you apex, lean back and left to pick up your visual cue out your driver side door window. Is the mirror blocking your vision on corner exit? Don’t know if there’s a solution for that. The Tacoma already has pretty small mirrors.

    back to bone stock.
memorize the terrain before you enter the turn? and then move your head around for the reminders while you in it.

I have the same problem. There are seat spacers that you install at the back of the seats, improves seating position.
Makes the seats more comfortable by adjusting the angle.
I find I sit a little bit higher in it with these spacers.
A guy on here makes and sells them.
    I'll find the link..

I've lost sight of pedestrians and even sometimes vehicles in the A-pllar blind spot, so you can't just assume you know what's out there to hit. Gotta move around. The poor visibility out of the 2nd gen was something I noticed immediate after driving an older truck for years and I'm not short. I imagine it's got to be even tougher for the OP.
