I have been keeping myself busy with cheap projects lately and had an idea I espres to run by everyone. I am not a fan of bling and don't care for Chrome. What do you guys think of taking fine sandpaper across my bumpers for a brushed Chrome look?

I wouldn't man. Your bumpers are chrome plated steel, steel rusts, chrome doesn't. Rough up the chrome you risk of pitting and rusting.

Yeah, but that was the grill surround which is plastic. His bumper is painted.
