So, as the title says, can the stock subwoofer be taken out of the access cab? Would that whole panel need to be replaced?

I don't know how to uninstall it, but why are you removing it? Let me know if you are wanting to sell it. If not do you know anywhere online that sells them or do you know the part number?

I'm sure it can be taken out but you'll be probably be left with mounting holes, etc.

As far as buying one online, not sure why you would want to buy one of these. For what you'd pay for that OEM part you can get a nice aftermarket setup that would sound infinitely better.

Yeah, I think I'd like to have the factory setup without losing the compartmental space, just a little extra bump. If anyone is selling one of these or knows where to get one let me know.

It's in my dad's truck and I really would like to take it out. Do you know if the panel that comes in the access cabs with no subs will fit? I don't see why it wouldn't but... I would be glad to sell you this one if I could fill the gap still looking stock.

    Glad I could help.
I would love to be able to afford to retrofit the back to the pre 09 but it would be very expensive. Even buying just the back wall plastic is costly on trdparts.

I know but they could have hidden it in the engine bay!
