O.K. I'll be in Breckenridge, Co. from June 26th thru July 3rd. I was wondering if anyone would like to do the Hagerman Pass day trip. I usually go to Leadville then across the pass & head back to I-70 on Lime Creek Rd. to Brush Creek Rd. thru Eagle, and back on I-70. We're also planning on doing the Buena Vista, Cottonwood Pass, Taylor Park Res., Tin Cup, St. Elmo, Nathrup Loop. Ive been to St. Elmo, but never around that loop. If you might be interested in showing the foreigners (from St. Louis, Mo) around, please shoot me an email. The wife & I usually go alone (w/ 2 dogs) & make a day of it. Might be nice to meet new trail riders who know their way around. Remember, I have to drive the Taco back home, (did Mosquito Pass last year), so can't do something like Black Bear, etc. Go to "superdave" to see what I'm driving.

    Thanks, Dave

I told the wife we were going to sleep out one night between Breck & Keystone. She only camps out if there's a coffee pot, warm bath, & it's next to a restaurant.. I've tried to get her to sleep out for one night in the last 3 years with no luck. Maybe this year? We will definitely do Hagerman, Cottonwood, & maybe Georgia, (if I can find it) Got all the coordinates, but still aren't sure. Available for trails June 26 - July 3rd 'lemme know if you can show us around.

Where are you trying to camp between Breck and Keystone? There is a camp ground site on lake Dillon but thats about it I think.

I'm thinking of doing this way home this year, haven't gone this way since '07 w/ the big '06 F250 Crew Cab Powerstroke

Depart Breckenridge on CR-3 [Ski Hill Rd] (East)
Turn RIGHT (South) onto SR-9 [S Main St]
    Keep RIGHT onto Local road(s)
Bear RIGHT (South) onto US-285 [SR-9]
    Bear LEFT (South-East) onto SR-9
Turn LEFT (East) onto US-24 [SR-9]
    Turn RIGHT (South) onto SR-9
At 37 County Road 11, Canon City, CO 81212, turn LEFT (North-East) onto CR-11
At CR-11, Canon City, CO 81212, turn RIGHT (South) onto CR-69
Road name changes to Co-345A [CR-69]
    Rest break (15 mins)
    Turn LEFT (North) onto CR-F24
At CR-F24, Canon City, CO 81212, stay on CR-F24 (East)
    Turn RIGHT (South) onto CR-9
Road name changes to Field Ave
