Has anyone put together a list of tools for the 2024 Taco, similar to this thread? Complete list of tools, sockets and wrenches for 2nd Gen Tacoma | Tacoma World

If that hasn't been compiled yet, does anyone know what changes to the 2nd Gen list would update the applicable tools from a 2nd Gen to the 4th Gen?

For reference, here's the 2nd Gen post:

Buying this shit piecemeal is always going to cost more than just buying a set.

Also if you're asking this question as an adult that just bought a $50,000 truck that's still under warranty... I'm not sure you should be working on a vehicle.

Wow. Eat a Snickers or something, my man.

Given that the thread I referenced is literally stickied in the 2nd Gen forum I don’t think I’m the only apparent idiot who is interested in this topic.

And I don’t think the fact that I value having a quick reference guide for what torx I need in order to remove my center console endangers my $50k truck or makes me incapable of working on it.

Ignore the troll, I am not aware of any such list. So far I’ve used 10mm and 14mm and a torx T7 for the grille camera bracket.

    Check back in 10 years!

My favorite part of owning my 2nd gen was that anything I could think of to do to that truck had already been done and documented.

As of right now, there's 100k G4 Tacomas running around and nobody even has a photo of the turbo!

You sir, could be the one to make this list.

Really? No photo of the turbo? But it's...like...right there.

How about this one? I found it in my camera roll just now.

I admit, though, it's not a very good one. It's dark and I didn't want to get all wet trying to compose a good shot. You did get me to go out and clean the snow off my truck, which I've been meaning to do since yesterday. So, that's good.

At this rate, I’ll have the truck paid off in…let’s see…carry the one…about 478 years!

Am I missing something? Here is a video from a year ago with the turbo.

My bed was off to the drivers side like many people reported. I moved it over as far as I could easily move it without taking the bed completely off.

The T55 torx bit that fit my 2nd Gen also fit my 4th Gen for the Bed bolts.

Bought the predecessor of this without the fasteners — cost $35. This one cost $40 with the fasteners. Cannot imagine anyone needing anything else in a pinch. Fits behind the rear passenger seat in my 3G TRD Pro:

This is a good idea especially for people going off road a lot or over-landing in case your having truck troubles with a part that needs to be removed or adjusted. Gather all tools needed and put it in a tool bag and store it in the bed.
