so,im wanting to pick up a set of mazda rx8 rims to put on my 2008 5 lug tacoma. I have read that the rims I want come with TPMS sensors. My truck has no tire pressure monitoring system. Is this going to be a problem if I put the new rims on? Also, is there a toyota center cap that will fit in place of the mazda cap?

No issue, without the monitoring system it wont matter if you have the sensor or not.

post a pic of the wheel, so we can see if the center cap fits or you can just get a toyota emblem from sockmonkey

Well then they are going to stick out a bit.

+50 will mean the hub is halfway between the center of the wheel and the inside rim of the wheel so it pushes the tire out past the fender. If that's the look you want, great. What tire size are planning on using and what is the wheel size?

The rims are 18x8. I looked under my steering wheel and I do have a tpms reset switch. Can I bypass it,will it be compatible if its mazda rims on a toyota? As far ad what tires,im not sure what I am gonna put on.

worse case is, if you dont install the sensor you will have a light on the dash, wont matter otherwise. your tire installer will help you with that.

If the wheel is 18x8 and it's +50 offset, the BS is going to be about 6.5". The wheel is going to tuck in. Imo, this is too much BS.
