Rear main on the motor? I think you can just pop it out of there after you unbolt the bottom few bolts.

I ended up just cutting it a bit and prying it out, that's what the manual says. Got the new input shaft seal on and the seal is curing right now so I'm gonna go throw the rear main in. Thanks for the help!

Do you have a post on where you did the fan clutch bracket?

I don't/haven't gotten to update this yet as once I got the clutch in I immediately had to go on a business trip and still out on it. What did you need? I can try and answer it

Super easy to replace. I have a few pics in my build thread, but its pretty self explanatory once you get the timing belt cover off

Did you have to drain your fluid? I couldn't get the cover completely off but made it work and got it off. Fairly easy just a tad PITA

Just wondering on your symptoms. I hear a slight intermittent grind at idle, I am assuming it is this fucker. I thought I saw you post a video like that, but the other dude posted a squeal video.

You can pop that top radiator hose off with minimal fluid loss if you immediately tilt it up high than the radiator and stuff a rag in the hole on the engine side.

You just leave the hose tilted up while you worked? or then you just pulled it off and whatever up top on the rad came out?

I just sent you the video I took via Instagram as I didn't feel like uploading it to Youtube then here. But after replacing it I don't hear it at all. I've only driven it up and down the block a few times but I think it's all good now.

Oh gotcha, I started to take it off then some fluid came out so I panicked and then just slide the cover as far off as possible ha.

I left it tilted up a bit with a clean shop towel in there to keep the crap out of there and incase the hose fell back down. You just kind of fold it back. You will lose like maybe a cup of fluid, whatever is in that section of hose and that short section of pipe going into the motor. Its just annoying because that crap stinks!

Wasn't bad! Stayed at home and watched some Netflix and had dinner. Not much else to do, but did have a great weekend camping so it's a trade off
