    This is a non-pro headlight with the chrome strip around the drl painted black. Essentially a pro headlight without the “trd” and “pro”. $375 for this service.

    I read the pricing on the initial post and saw the options listed, but I did not see an option for just opening up a pair of Pro Headlights and removing the "TRD" and "PRO" inserts with no bezel paint or side marker replacement. Would you be interested in doing that?

    Do you already have the Pro headlights? Because the above mentioned set up would be identical to what you’re asking for. I’m not sure that those inserts are just removable.

    Yeah. That's the thing, I already own the headlights. I bought the pro version due to them having less chrome, but I'm not a fan of the "TRD PRO" branding on there. I thought maybe you had opened up a pair already. I have no idea if those are removable or not. I've been assuming that the bucket behind them is the same as the non-pro version (From what can be seen looking inside the lettering). If at some point you open up a pro set and find that those inserts can be removed, I'd be interested in sending mine in.

    I’m interested in getting mine painted and have the side markers installed. Question though; do you have any reference videos to show the difference between the light output of the side markers?

    There is virtually no difference in the side marker brightness between the 3 shades.

    @PapaRee

    Truck is looking great! Is that a light in the hood scoop? One pic you posted looks like there is... If so, can I see some pics lit up... as well as how you did it on the inside...

    -Cheers

    Dude, that’s sweet! I debated opening the scoop up and actually making it functional at one point but opted out for now... but that led light in the hood is an awesome idea!! Appreciate the info!!

    What’s the total price if you buy the lights, painted insides black, and smoked side marker?

    The big question finally answered: Can you just remove the illuminated “trd” and “pro” on the trd pro headlights? Yes, yes you can. Identical to the base headlights, just a little trim plate.
