Let's go with a fixed $30 for that guy, you pick the length. I used braided sleeving for @Khoadattran which I think is probably about right for protection but still flexible. I think he said that 42" long would have been just about perfect to relocate from driver cubby to lower switch panel? I'm guessing you'd need longer if you want to get it into the overhead?

My DRL/Rapture light harness was awesome too. Great personal service too!

Question, the ECT switch and Auto Headlight switch have the same connectors on the back?

This is how I understand things. However, my lame 2016 MT has neither :)

Hey I would be interested in a factory splice of the rear taillight for brake light and running light so I can run a rear light on my camper. I like to keep things easily reversible to stock. So this sounds great!

I can help you out but @Puppypunter is quite the machine at these and might be a better option given my backlog.

He has a nice clean thread too.

All DIR and headlight harnesses should be shipped. I goofed and forgot to check the connector orders, oopsie.

    Latest TODO:

    At bat:
    1. Ship sidemarker caps for @Absolut_Boost
    2. Ship H9 connectors for @WTH_SR5
    3. Build and ship ECT extension harness for @Jeff Dartfrog
    On deck:
    1. Bed light relay harness for @JDSmith -- Need to order 12 gauge
    2. Custom DIR for @caribe makaira
    3. Double DRL + LED light harness for @Zumozuzu7 -- kinda stalling a little bit on hopes of 24 position GEP shipping
    4. H4 Headlight harness for @Shadowhunter -- no excuses other than summertime so lower priority
    5. Re-supply on DIR and non-rapture headlight harnesses -- only 3 DIR left right now, probably need to get going on at least a quick batch of 10 DIR
    In the hole:
    1. Bed light v2 with @Khoadattran
    2. Funzie H4 + horns for @Empty_Lord and me -- also kinda stalling on hopes of 24 position GEP

    Still zero rush, lol.

my next big thing will be diode dynamics lights and a switch pro + viair compressors for the truck (more so for a working truck, not for the broverlanding scene)

Not ARB twinsie? I've got my bedside cubby ready to go but them twins are all OOS or something? Or maybe Colton just pissed off the Aussies? It's OK, I can wait, no off grid camping for me until I know for sure my kids can keep their undies clean. Where are you planning to mount yours?

Also, did you consider the color matched bedliner paint? It's crazy spendy or something?

I was kind of thinking, if I do managed to re-acquire the Tundra, would it be better or worse for trail than the Tacoma. It's definitely a way better camping machine with the 8' bed.

Same as a third gen length wise.
But offroad ive got 2 Tacomas now.. the red one will be built for playing y, the tundra is really used for working on things and picking up things.

but yea; the tundras WAY better with camping than the tiny bed on the double cab tacos

I’ll be mounting the compressors down along the frame rails with the intake coming into the bed.. I don’t like losing bed space

Ah, like a quick chuck connection in the sheet metal with some sort of cap to protect it when you haul manure? Not that you likely haul much manure, especially with a shell on it. So you take off the cover, connect your air line, fire up switchpros power and you're pumping air to tires/tools from the bed?

Only downside is it might get a little dirty down by the frame rails right? Not that the engine bay is pristine nor a box in the fender.

I was thinking something like this guy for 1st gen Tundra might be nice, mine has the split bench, amp under the passenger side but IIRC nothing under the driver side.

Underseat subwoofer is in the future (the low end doesn’t extend very low right now) and the passenger side has the airbag sensors under it.
Frame rails I’m not too worried about it getting mucked up. I’ll probably put it in a weatherproof battery box or something. These will mostly be for fixing stuff on the tractor/zero turn, roadside stuff.

and if I decide to go play, air tires back up when done.

So, my fav sub of all time was in my '97 F150 which had bucket seats. I removed the OEM console and built a bandpass box (didn't put in cupholders though, perhaps an oversight). It was about 2 cubic feet and slanted just right for the shifter, ports firing forward at the bottom, bolted in, 12" sub firing forward. It was fantastic up until someone else decided it belonged to them instead of me and trashed the box and my rear seat to steal some not particularly special gear.

At one point I really wanted to put bucket seats in the Tundra as well, so I could do a v2 center console sub box, just never got up the nerve to actually make it a 2 seater as it was my only set of wheels. But with AT and no shift knob I think there's at least 3 cubic feet to play with...

I think I saw in your thread that the Sequoia seats bolt in? Still, I kinda dig the RC bench seat experience.

I’ve got access cab tundra seats. The adjustability of the buckets makes long trips WAY better, and honestly the center console is a massive chunk of storage reg cabs never got.

So, I’m thinking a 15 facing the driver in a 4 cubic foot box with the amp on the top. 8” wide and 3’ long, 2’ tall. Overkill?

For me overkill. Lol. I listen to classic rock, country and old country. All I want is a wee bit more low end. The JBL bass pro has high level inputs and I already wired up a connector for that job when it’s time.
