Dakar Leaf Pack Order Mystery (Amazon)

So I purchased a set of Dakars from Amazon (due to financing options).

I've attached what the product description looked like when I placed the order. I know that even though it says CS047R that I would get the new pack EL095R. So I selected a quantity of 2 and confirmed the order.

However, when delivered, I received one EL095R and one mystery leaf pack. The mystery pack says OME on the label and says Spring Toy Tacoma and has the part number CS047R on it. I've attached a picture of it below.

I'll be calling the vendor from Amazon, but just trying to see if this has happened to anyone previously.

Called Amazon and they're sending the appropriate one by Wednesday. Got the return label for the mystery leaf pack.

about the Amazon issue no, but im sure she cares about giving an idea what that other pack could be

 

I ordered my dakars off Amazon no issues. Cheapest at the Time with free shipping

 

They said it was a fulfillment issue. Which I figured it was a mislabel. I'm just curious about what the other pack is. And yeah I talked myself out of buying them when the prices were the lowest on Amazon =/

 

cs047r is also an old man emu toyota tacoma pack

iirc the new revamped pack for our trucks from old man emu is renamed el095r

they recently came out with a revised pack for the dakar squeak iirc

i am still confused by your picture though and what the heck you got there, the spring on the left is neither of these emu packs we are talking about, that is something totally different

 

Hence the mystery pack. I've never seen it before. Amazon is correcting the issue but I'm curious to know what it is, which is why I posted it on TW. It has a sticker on the leaf pack wrap that says CS047R but we all know that is not correct.

 

my two guesses are either someone took apart a cs047r and someone shipped it off (though the i bolt looks sized to suit) or it is for another car all together with the wrong sticker, old man emu makes like hundreds of different packs for different makes and models

So the replacement pack came, its a CS047R, not an EL095R. Talked to ARB and they said I can't remove the third leaf and run it with the EL095R because they are made by two different manufacturers. Can anyone shed any light on this?

 

I would demand two identical part numbers...

it is a documented fact by Vendors on here on TW that the cs047r, el095r & el096r are three different part numbers and essentially three different items...
