Dont put it in any sort of box. These need airflow. Both to suck in air to compress and to help cool them. These things get HOT. After filling all four tires (with my single) I cant touch the unit. I know @northwesttaco 's dual get hot as well.

If you look in the OBA thread youll see how some people have mounted different setups. I want to remount mine by the cubby in the bed but been to lazy.

While you are setting it up, run a T fitting and then run a hose with female quick disconnect to the front and one at the rear. Then just have to hook up your hose at either connectors plus itll let you pull behind someone and fill them up too. Its pretty cheap and something ive been meaning to do too. But thats totally a convenience thing :)

There's an OBA thread??? I've played around with this a little more today and I've still got nothing... Except for mounting on top of my Sub box haha

I played that game for a while.. Got tired of having to refill the tank. CO2 is damn fast though..

    Anything with a 35'' + should be CO2 i think.

It's stupid fast. Even the dual ARB takes twice as long if not longer to do my 35x12.5r15s.

I did run out of CO2 on my last trip. Sometimes i feel like i don't get a full refill half the time.

But i HATE waiting on compressors. Damn. and so loud and annoying. Most the guys in Wyo i wheel with all do CO2 and it takes us no time at all to air up. Its great.

Hey man saw your post in the OBA thread. Here is how I did mine.

    ACB02E57-DA00-4708-AFD3-ED3897A99893_zps_78efaa4778efcd6c3c4469526941eb6df65df261.jpg

Works well just had to cut out one of the bed support ribs to get it to lay flush, and put a nice 90 degree elbow coming from the compressor. Also clears the pocket completely.

At the top of this pic you can see the bottom two mounting bolts.

That's a really good spot for the dual compressor!

Yeah but ARB gets you expo points ;)

Haha for real though you guys make an excellent point... But I didn't want to deal with the pain of mounting a big ass tank back there...
Dude that's awesome! Looks really clean too! So you just cut a hole in the back of the pocket for the airline to run thru?

I have an airline that runs to the two gallon tank that's mounted under the bed just below the pocket and then from there to the pocket for a quick connect.

I'm also going to be running front and rear lockers with it so that was a huge part in making my decision. I'll admit I miss how fast the CO2 is though.

Ohh i remember reading about you doing that a while ago.. That is badass. To fill my 5lb tank it was about $14 each time and there is only 1 shop within a reasonable distance that will fill it. Yours is a 15lb right?

I use a 20oz paintball bottle for the locker. I use a 20lb for the tires. Costs 20 bucks or so to fill.
