    Good , I had to re-adjust the strips again but this time I trapped the free ends under the next leaf down in an ' O ' shape , it seems to keep them put a bit better .

    Like I said before though , for the silence I am enjoying , I would gladly get under there and re-adjust them every two weeks if that's what it took .

    A friend put a grease nipple on his one at a time until he found the squeaky leaf. :cool:

    Oh Great Oz!, have you thought about seeing what your steps would look like painted black? I hate the all black look as much as anyone but I think with the black racks on top of your canopy it would look damn good. Just a thought of mine, figured I'd just leave that here for you to ponder.

    The Dakars have no isolators where the leaf wraps the bushing up front , this is where I had a squeak I couldn't seem to get rid of with regular lubing .

    The pond liner strips really work .

    Originally , I got the stainless because I am right on the coast and we have sea salt in the rain and road salt in the winter , but the shiny look isn't doing it for me anymore
