Has anyone heard or used this rubberized paint?

I was considering it as a cheap alternative to getting the truck painted, but I'm concerned on how it holds up to weather, offroad, other wear and tear our Tacomas see.

Plast-dip is NOT a good alternative for painting your truck, especially if you off-road. If you were only driving on that payment or basic gravel trails you might be fine, but one wipe on a branch, limb, or rock and it'll come right off. Good thing is though is that it's very easy to touch up, but I would get pretty tired of "spray painting" my truck IF I was an avid weekend off-roader or wheeler.

    That's what I was thinking.
But on the other hand, I live in Maryland where trails are hard to come by. I've only been wheeling a few times (unless you count driving on beaches, I don't)

I'm trying to feel out the options. I got a little bit of money from when a lady ran her side mirror down my truck. So I thought I could stretch it out, instead of let the Ins. just repair the scrape.

    enough to go over stuff
I dont know about doing your whole truck but I plasti diped my badges 6 months ago. 7 layers 10 minuts apart. I wash my car everyweek and the stuff has held up great, My buddy did his 3 years ago and its just starting to flake. So now he can just peel it off and reapply.

My neighbor and I did his car check out my thread here
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/general-automotive/259474-plasti-dipped-my-neighbors-2013-g37s.html

It held up fine to road salt and normal driving and was really easy to peal off if you spray it on thick enough it will peal off in big sheets. To get any over spray out of the jambs and other places you use goo gone let it sit for a little while and use a microfiber and it comes off like butter.

Also check out dipyourcar's youtube channel they give tips for spraying it on and also have plenty of videos of putting it to the test
