    Hi All

Just purchased a used 2016 Limited to replace my problematic 2008 Chevy Silverado. I love the new truck, my 82lb coonhound not so much. Dog is young and grew up in the Chevy where I would fold up the rear seat and he had the run of the back of the crew cab. Can't seem to find a comfortable arrangement for him in the Taco. If I fold forward the seat bottoms and then fold down the seat back I like the arrangement but it puts him a little too tall in the saddle, he's a tall dog. If I just fold forward the seat bottoms and leave the seat backs in place the surface is not stable for him.

Wanted to see if anyone else has solved this 'first world' problem. I was thinking about trying a foam mat like a yoga mat and trim to fit with the seat bottoms fold forward only.

    Thanks

    Scott

Is the issue the space? Do you have the double cab?

In my case, I have a 30lb dog so the space isn't an issue, and I also have the double cab so she's got plenty of space. The problem was if I had to brake quickly she would fall off of the seats, or if she was on the center console at the time, would fall forward.

I got this and it works beautifully.

I have three dogs and I'm buying a topper mostly for their convenience. I get to keep the cab clean of dog hair and the three of them have plenty of room to hang out in the back.
