Door Panel Removal?

    Please post pictures of it after you put the mat in. Thinking of doing the same if it really helps. Are you doing the reR wall as well?

    How difficult is it to remove the inner panels? Any special tools needed besides basic tools and a panel clip remover? I would want to do the roof too, It was like a drum sitting under a tree in a rainstorm.

    Wow ive been trying to figure out how to get my door panels off for a while as well and not fuck anything up in the process. Pictures are of a great help!! Good job guys!

    There are some vids on YouTube already if you want to try them out! Just buy some door clips at the dealer cuz there's a good chance they won't all come out intact.

    Any other place to buy these door clips at? Maybe Amazon? Also do i need a tool to remove or install them?

    Only place I know is the dealer. The tool to use is kinda like a plastic crow bar. I think u can get it at advance or autozone. Not sure tho.

    I think the sound deadening material helps a ton, but with those two vents in the back the truck still feels noisy. A piece of foam or insulation over those vents might help.

    Are the door trim/panel clips the same in the 3rd gen as in the 2nd gen? I'm curious to know what the toyota part number on the clips are now.

    in post #38 on the third pic from the top is a little red tool on the floorboard..thats what you are looking for and it has 2 prong like things on the end
