    I am gathering my supplies for adding a second battery in the bed. Can anyone show me pictures where they mounted the BlueSea ML-ACR? Also what size fuse was used between the starting battery and the ML-ACR. Probably have more questions later as the work begins.

    I didn't fuse between the starting battery and ML-ACR but did from second battery to ML-ACR.
    Used one of these terminal post fuses. Ended up with a 250amp though.

    Thanks, that helps, that's where I was thinking about mounting mine. Hadn't checked the clearance yet. I am going to put the 300A fuse in the bed with the battery. May hit you up with a couple questions later.

    @DaveEli I personally wouldn't mount if on top of the fuse box. Trying to troubleshoot fuses with something mounted on top of it is a PITA (I used to mount a circuit breaker on top of mine and it sucked).

    I used 300A circuit breakers between both batteries and the ML-ACR

    I agree with you but as always space is always at a premium. I have the switch for my winch and compressor on the fuse panel plate. What is your reasoning for the fuse between the first battery and the ML-ACR? I am trying to get the most info I can before I make a decision.

    Added insurance. Some people have it, some don't. People that have it say that if your ML-ACR goes to shit, your battery is protected. People that don't have it say it doesn't really mater. Doesn't really cost much, and I had space for it.

    I also have a circuit breaker between my aux fuse panel and the aux battery.

    Makes sense, cost is minimal. I have the circuit breaker also.
