FOG light mod randomly on?

okay so i did the fog light mod on my 2nd gen tacoma... and the fog lights randomly turn on every once in a while... does anyones else do this?

Yes it is common.

Some guides instruct you to connect the relay to a power source that controls the fuel pump. The fuel pump runs every hour or so (when the truck is off) to clear dirt from the fuel filter.

To prevent the lights from turning on you need to use a different power source.

I got mine hooked up that way and have not had an issue

 

Thats the one ^^^^. No issues here.

 

This is the way to do it to avoid having them turn on again.
