Who did the valving work, and what are the changes?

I did. Valved for a truck with skids, sliders, hybrid front bumper. The DSCs allow additional changes per terrain.

Did you have a weight target in mind? I'm an engineer, so I do better with numbers, LOL. Which spring set was anticipated for this set-up. How did you determine correct valving? Not questioning your ability at all, just wondering where these are set. I understand how the valving and DSC work. These are a really good deal unless they are set up way off from my targets. Thanks

Normally you have a vehicle weight you want to handle, a spring rate in mind, and the type of driving. Those three factors determine the valving you choose. I was just wondering what your criteria was. Yea, I don't care about the 650# spring debate either. I run 650, and that's the end of the story for me. Last question: how did you drive it, and did you find it properly set for that driving? Sorry for the questions, but I imagine other buyers will want to know. I and others can revalve them as we wish, but it would be sweet to drop them in. Yea, no debate about the price at all.

I drive a lot of seriously rocky roads, washboard, ruts, etc. I'm not crazy on speed though. I like compliance in my suspension, one reason I prefer the 650's

Considering the custom valving, which rears would you recommend pairing these with?

That really depends on your type of wheeling. IMO, a rear shock relocation is the best bang for buck. For the price you spend on OE replacement, aftermarket shocks (that still limit droop) just spend the additional money and not have your travel limited. I personally have a 2.5x12" in my rear and it pairs nicely but most don't need the 2.5. I live in SoCal and the desert/Baja is my backyard so it was worth the additional heat dissipation for me. So a 2.0x12 would work well too and allow full cycling for MOST rear setups while saving a little cost.

You could go the 14" route but you really have to have the right setup for the rear of a 2nd gen to cycle over 12".

Loving this exact set up. Not huge with the rock crawling, but this is for sure better for my high speeds through Joshua tree and Anza Borrego with the occasional rocky section. 12” 2.5 paired with the @ARCHIVE shock relocation has been significant upgrade OE 2.5 replacements. Thanks again @desertjunkie760

I've got a steel Pelfrey gas tank skid going up for sale here soon. New, never installed. Powder coated black.

Also looking to change my bumper out. Pelfrey standard rear will be up for sale. (lights not included.)

    PM me if interested.
