Yeah, I figured Kurt, Miles, or Geoff would chime in. Got it figured out independently while they were responding and got a nut from Home depot that will at least be a patch job, but think I'll call Cruiser Outfitters and have them send me a washer and nut thats OEM.

    I'd vote for the T4R!

I think I'm leaning that way if I do decide to get something new to me. $5.00+ gas is really making me consider more fuel efficient options though. WA just had a new gas tax measure go into effect 2 weeks ago and boosted gas another $0.20 or so.

Want to give this a watch when I get home, since they've been all over North America in both over the last few years.

GX460 uses premium fuel. So you’re talking $6/gallon to get <20mpg.

That 4.6L will run just fine on regular. Maybe just not gonna reach stated fuel economy that way

I’ve seen pinging on Lexus’s even at 91+ octane. Just didn’t like the “lower end” fuel.

You can, but personally I’m not buying a $50k truck and putting lower octane fuel than recommended.

Same 4.6L in the Tundra. Manual states to use 87

A friend of mine has a built 460 and he puts regular in it all the time no issue. But the 4.6L is a thirsty pig no matter how you look at it.

It's going pretty well. Lots of fun had on weekends, etc. Living in Everett leaves a little to be desired, but that's the Seattle area for you if you want a short commute. Nothing like watching a person take their morning fenty hit straight off the foil on your way to work like a block from my apt.

Gonna sit in the job another couple months before I decide if I want to buy a house here or not. Not entirely sold on staying in the area, and interest rates as high as they are are murderous on a mid-600s house

The job is much more involved than had been sold to me, and the person I replaced left a lot of holes in documentation, process, etc. It's been a lot of work repairing those holes and trying to automate as much as I can to take it off my plate. I must be doing a halfway decent job since they now want to hand back a business unit to my dept that has been managed by our other site for over a year now cuz they didn't trust the last person. Really cutting into my TW time!

Whenever someone leaves the job there are always holes, and then you wonder how the hell they lasted so long.

Lack of TW time translates to “I need a raise bro”.

Sounds like you’re doing alright, but I suspect you could fit in at most places.

    Still rolling the 2nd Gen?

The problem is the holes developed months before they vacated the role. Probably also why they "got vacated" to some degree. I believe the Navy calls it "Loss of Confidence"

Lack of TW time means Im growing at this point. I was def too idle at my last job and thats why I left.

2nd gen still, but always waffling on if I wanna jump for a "next". Put it to TBD at this point.

Nice 2 day ride on the bike as a 38mi bikepacking loop over on the Oly Peninsula. Hot, dry, sunny, forest fire filled smokey air from Canada. But really good gravel riding.

Made some bikepacker friends along the way and ended up sharing a campsite.

Got some ice cream that was amazing, but super sketch down a gravel backroad in the middle of nowhere to celebrate the ride. Wrapped it up with a WA ferry ride to finish the trip.
