I was thinking about that. I can do it in our shop, so thats no problem. I just wasn't sure how good it would look...

Definitely do some searches about that. I've been reading about durability issues. I guess it will depend on how long you expect it to hold up and what type of roads you drive on.

Since you don't have a TPMS to worry about it would be super cheap to find whichever Toyota alloy you prefer from Tacoma or 4Runner or FJ Cruiser. Lots of guys upgrade to aftermarket and sell the factory alloys cheap.

Yeah, LED's are expensive. There are cheaper versions out there but they still aren't that cheap. If you're okay with the current light output I would put that lower on the priority list.

Biggest tire on factory suspension is 265/75/16.

would the 265's raise it up noticeably? also you said earlier that a 2in lift would be good, if i got 265's would i want to get a bigger lift? also would i want to lift the back a little?

If I were you I'd put 265/75/16 tires on factory offroad alloys (or aftermarket if you want to spend a bit more) and Bilstein 5100 shocks on all four corners with the fronts set at 1.5".

If you go more than approx 2" lift you will run into alignment issues (can be fixed by aftermarket upper control arms for $450). If you go with a bigger tire you will run into rubbing issues (not a big deal if you're okay trimming stuff off in the wheel well). Lots of guys go with taller lifts and bigger tires but the above setup is a relatively cheap and conflict free way to improve the truck. With that in mind I would recommend you spend a few weeks browsing the forums to see what everyone is doing and what they think about it.

It would be much easier to just browse the forum and find guys with similar setups first if want to see how it looks.

A lift and/or new wheel-tire combo is going to improve the look of your truck more than anything else.

Add a leaf to the rear leaf pack and throw some Bilstein 5100's in the front. If you just lift the front you will likely end with a dreaded bro lean and they only look good on LT's. Not only will your truck look good with the aforementioned lift, but you will have increased your payload capability

lift just the front with some spacers, and color code the grill, thatll make her look a bit meaner.

http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com...able-5100-front-and-rear-5100-shock_p_31.html i was looking at this, would you do that 1.5" add a leaf in the rear? or just do the shocks?
