    What are my options?

I've tried going at it with the impact wrench and it's not budging.

What kind of impact wrench? I have yet to find one my Milwaukee has not been able to defeat.

Your didn't mention what type of impact you're using. But yeah. Check out the earlier thread previously mentioned.

First 2 times I did my timing belt a lot of swearing etc. I tried the starter bump and it broke my breaker bar!

Anyhow, I finally made a tool like the one pictured - I had everything on hand and took me 20 mins. All you need is flat steel stock from the home center, drill the center hole as pictured. The hole really only has to be large enough to fit a 1/2" extension if you dont have ability to drill a large hole (I assume would need a step bit). Then 2 additional holes for the bolts (forgot spacing but its an even inch number, see the thread) and jam nut those to the bar. Just make sure bar stock is flat against the pulley or bolts will bend.

My floor jack handle fits over my breaker bar but if not get some steel pipe.

Also does not hurt to hit it with some penetrating oil - I struggled all day once using transmission as a brake on the pulley and finally gave up, sprayed it overnight and next day came right off. But this rarely works.

The bar is really easy and about $10 or so in parts. I was really stupid for not doing this right from the beginning but like a lot of people I was penny wise, pound stupid at the time. You need sharp drill bits to make it through the steel and I have learned to use cutting fluid to avoid ruining my drill bits.

I looked it up, bolt spacing is 3" from what someone reported but check before committing. Also you need bolts that are threaded all the way to head, might have to go to ACE or similar to find those. Forgot the size...

My homemade tool is pictured in both of the links I posted. If you make it like how I did no need to mess with bolt spacing or drill a center hole or cut a relief. Also the unthreaded shank of the bolts I used fits the harmonic balancer holes perfectly.

Okay. I got the bolt out by spraying lots of penetrant, and doing the "starter and breaker bar on frame" method.

Now, I need help getting the crank pulley out without using a fancy puller tool (unless that is the ONLY option; trying to save money).

I tried. The whole truck was jiggling. Also sprayed penetration lube to soak overnight. I'll jiggle more tomorrow.

The timing belt cover is plastic and is flexing when pushed against. Might break. I don't know where else to leverage from.

The one at the bottom. The top (big one) is off. The bottom one, I think I need to take the crank pulley off to access. Unless the bolts are hidden behind a cake of oil and dirt and easily accessible.

I can do this to remove the pulley as well? I think it was only for the pulley bolt.

    My reading sucks, disregard.

So that part. I spray, move it out and tap it in, I will actually mallet the pulley back in while spraying it.

Shit, it's been a while and I have CRS. Do you have access to a rubber mallet? Might have to give it a little tappy tap taparoo tomorrow after the astroglide sinks in. A little heat may help.

My first time doing this. I guess I just wedge it deep between the pulley and the shaft, right?
