There are five nuts that have to be removed then 1 recessed screw in the center towards the front of the hood. The screw has a square plastic clip that centers the scoop that you will have to pop out. The front lifts out first with a couple of clips at the top of the scoop that come out at an angle.

The screw is right between the front two nuts. Take that out and you will be gtg. There is a hole in the hood. Get under there and you will see it. I missed it when I tried to take mine off to.

Now to take the grille out you will have to drill or cut the plastic rivets. No big deal but make sure you have some new rivets and you might have to drill the holes in the plastic tub that it attaches to. Take you time with it and paint your rivets before you put them in because they will show through the grill.

You should be able to fish it out, if you are not able to then you should be able to fab up something pretty easy. Let me know if you need anything else bro.

Yeah you can get the rivets at any hardware or auto store. I used aluminum ones and a rived gun but if you don't have a rivet gun then look for some plastic ones or some push in clips. Remember the shorter the better because they will poke through.

If you are going to paint the whole scoop then don't even take it apart. You could just tape it up to.
