picture of paint trying to show scratch? assuming they are light scratches and not an overwhelming amount of them any detail shop should be able to buff them out. for situations like this i used a dewalt buffer with a green general application pad and a polish called diamonds crystal four made by a company called ardex that polish is not a compound it just deepens the finish very nicely and helps the high speed buffer stay lubricated.

How do I get yellowing of my tire walls. Not sure what it's from but my motorcycle was sitting for a while and now the tires look like crap. I've scrubbed the shit out of them but as soon as they dry, they look yellow again.

if you decide to take it to have it done professionally take it to the toyota dealership not some where else let their recon dept work on it. that way if the burn anything they have to replace it just look the car over good and know what blemishes where on the car before they started.

My hood has what looks like water spots etched into the paint. The hood looks good until you view it from the side in direct sunlight. What do you advise, or is it too late to fix? I've tried cleaners and wax but they don't touch it.

hard water or acid rain yikes. you will need to have your car buffed i would suggest taking the car to the dealership and having them buff it out as it will need to be cut and polished then sealed. i would be careful where you park this chick i worked with had terrible water spots and it was coming from her sprinkler system it would kick on over night and wet her car hard water is a common thing with most lawn systems as they are not really filtered or softened. you could try going at it by hand if its not that bad, but i would suggest a professional.

something out there saw fit to only let me drive black trucks. i mean no matter what i always end up in black wtf! for those of you out there that want to get the most out of your dark colored truck i will post pictures and descriptions of the store bought chems i swear by. some are actually better than the stuff the pros use and some almost seemed designed to destroy your rig's finish. more to come

Upon closer inspection, it is small chips. It really looks like it was sand blasted.

Guess the only option is to replace the windshield. No money for that so in will live with it for now. Thanks for the help.

You do mean polish first and wax second right?...

Because if you wax first and polish after... you are pretty much just taking out the wax you just put on the area...

    1. Tuff Stuff the roof.
    2. Brush with mild brush.
    3. Wipe excess with towel.
    4. Oh damn!, it looks brand new.

I did this to a couple cars ive had, some of them had very soft tops and there has never been any damage. Unless your thing is falling apart in which case... replace...

For the seats... you should seriously get some seat covers... and put something between the seat and the seat cover... cause that looks gross...

You should try waxing that windshield... youd be amazed at how little youll see some of the imperfections on glass as well as how well your wipers will work and how much less rain affects your visibility. Try to work the wax, work it!

lol dude your seats need to be steam cleaned. we have a machine that heats the water and citrus cleaning solution we use to around 250 degrees and it rocks out anything. as far as the headliner this you could do yourself. try finding a generally light all purpose cleaner and dilute it with 50/50 with water then have on hand a bucket full of hot water and a large hand towel. wet the towel ring it out then spray the allpurp on it then work a section at a time going in one direction rinse and repeat when towel gets funky to avoid spreading caca around. do not rub to hard or go to crazy with it if you need to make the solution stronger just make sure it says its safe for fabrics. also try not to get the head liner to wet, if you get it to wet it can sometimes look clean on the surface only because it darkens up and makes the stain less noticable. on a side not you could look into renting a steam cleaner and doing it yourself price it out and see whick one is cheaper.

you could use the tuff stuff spray but i would advise against using any sort of brush on a headliner. that would not provide the results your gonna be looking for:eek:
