Hey guys, I search and searched this site for a thread but couldn’t find one. I want to see if you guys found a way to make the 2nd gen (08 is mine) beep when you lock and unlock it with the key fob.

My 2010 does as well. I’m guessing there is a way to turn the feature on and off, but I don’t know how to do it.

Did you make sure your beeper was plugged in? Maybe previous owner unplugged it. There's also this but I don't know it it works or not.

This works for my 2015 4-cyl, with factory keyless.

Now if I could only get the "unlock" beeps to turn off but leave the "lock" beep active. LOL, I don't think there's such a thing. I don't really need to hear beeps when approaching the truck, but it would be nice to hear a beep when pressing the button as I walk away for confirmation. I also like the beep in parking lots to let others who may be up to no good know that my truck is locked.

LOL... searching for a way to set up the keyless entry was what brought me here in the first place.

My switch to kill the "beep" in case of needing the four-ways is different now but I'm still running this mod.

I just disabled my beeps and it's actually pretty nice. It's so annoying with all the beeps to get in the truck. I have a family of 5 so I often have to double hit the button to unlock all the doors which gives off 4 beeps. Now it's quiet. :D
