subbed, I might try this- this weekend. Gonna use a bearing puller on the seal. hopefully someone else can chime in thats done it before.
as for pulling the axle, a slap hammer works wonders. Its held in place with a c-clip but I've never had luck with prying one out on a second gen

Pull the CV axle out and replace the seal? If that is the one you are talking about.

You can leave the hub connected and disconnect spindle and take the whole thing out as one...if you have a friend with big muscles like I do. Bit heavy..
