For the internet connection to read and write, does the laptop have to be hard wired to the router or is wifi acceptable?

Wifi is perfectly ok. I use my phone's hot-spot when I'm out tuning on the closed course.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/gas-pedal-spacer-available-now-no-more-shipping-cost.435045/

I contacted the guy over a year ago and had no response so I pulled my gas pedal out, traced the outline of the base and mounting holes onto paper and took that to a plastic shop. Plastic shop made me the spacer out of some sort of 3/4" block of tough, non flexy plastic. Found longer bolts at home depot.

Looks like he's since gone into production

When you said pedal spacer, he popped in my head. He's a buddy of mine, and was the only one I knew of that was making them.

Thanks! Although I feel a little guilty about what it took to get there. If I went the CSF route, I'm quite certain that I'd have enough $ left over for several HPtuners, cam gears, and injectors.......

Add another $700 or so to your high end for the radiator/fans/shroud/recover tank/shipping then add in controllers and wiring ($500). However, if anyone wants to purchase a duplicate from RD I'm certain it should be closer to your high range as all the heavy lifting has been completed regarding the design and integration of the tranny cooler, shroud, over flow and sensor bungs. TorSpd's was a manual and didn't need a cooler, like the auto's do. This radiator was a custom which can essential add in $ on the front side. Now you can just order one up and have it in hand in just a couple of weeks provided you don't make any changes, manual or FJ auto (taller than the tacoma, but should fit like the CSF's). I think the manual one with the shroud and fans is $1700ish IIRC

Are you looking for resistance or voltage for the IAT?

I need to know the Voltage/Temperature correlation. There's a table that isn't currently defined in the Tacoma ECU. I have the data for the Tundra (as it's defined in their cal).

Do you think it's linear and do you think it's 1:1 with measured values at the sensor? We could bench test one rather quickly and establish a few data points?

So at this point you have an FJ for Life tattoo or something, right. I mean, you can't ever sell it. My wife never asks, but the other day she told me to put the Tacoma in the garage because "it's the most expensive vehicle we own."

Generally they're not quite 1:1. Though we could define the curve with some simple measurements at various data points. Here's one from a Mazda (off the cuff google search) to give you an idea of what we're looking at.

Ok, I was able to make a Resistance/Temp calibration by putting a variable resistance box on the wires and seeing what temp Techstream was reporting per resistance for my tune, was going to contribute
    IAT RESISTANCE.jpg
Could have been smoother at the ends but was virtually no change between -10 and -50 degrees and who drives in anything north of 150 degrees lol
