So wtf? I am SLOW! haha

One of my customers who drives a pretty sweet Taco came in today and ask my dad some info on his 98 Taco SR5. My dad told the guy that the car was purchase brand new and it was a 98, he told my dad that Toyota has a new warranty where if have Rust on the frame, you could bring it in to see if Toyota will either fix it, or buy it from you(from the excellent value of KBB and + 50% more).

The thing is, the truck has about 190,000 miles on it now. Would that void the warranty? If it doesn't and we decide to take it in, where would we go to? The service or to the sales department?

I'll upload pictures later and see what you guys think.

They tap the frame with a hammer and if it goes through it is considered unsafe

I'm assuming there is no expire date to this warranty? I found someones question on YahooAnswer and it says there was a expire date? Must be something else? Hopefully my dad can do it, I will purchase a brand new tacoma if it fails.

where would I go to? The service department or to the front desk?
