    Here's an earlier graph for a 2012.
What, if any, modifications were on the trucks? The first appears, for the lack of a better term, weak. The second, no better than stock in both runs.
Also, please post all the data. Not just that which shows the most contrast. It may or may not prove your point but least it won't appear you are concealing something. My opinion only.

That was also my point. Posting confusing charts makes it look like a shell game. With a computer, it's very easy to make any chart appear at first glance to be far more dramatic than it actually is, simply by obfuscating the context. Which one is more clear?

    This?

There is nothing hidden or manipulated. There were 2 other members, whom I had not met prior that were there. They saw how things were conducted. There is NO POINT in me trying to fabricate anything. It doesn't make sense for me to spend the time, money and effort only to then try to lie about a product or results on testing a product. I am here trying to bring something beneficial for you, the owners of trucks and SUVs who like to tinker with their vehicles and get the most out of them. That being said, I have same graphs coming from the dyno shop later but with the clearer concise type layouts that you all have described.

    Good. :)

It is in your own best interest to do that.

Exactly, and the guys being the loudest are obviously never going to run one anyway, so all they do is sit and try to poke holes in things. I am the one that has taken the risk, spent the money, put in the time. The spacer is proven to work, customers who have bought it are happy.

You have my thanks because you're actually the one who inspired me to do the 2.7 spacer.

    Purchased!

I know these do well on old cars, i have one on my chevelle.

also the dyno sheet although slightly confusing, was what gave me the extra push to purchase it.

    Oh boy...
i know i have said this plenty of times but, im still very happy with mine op. To all those who are doubting. If there were anyone who already bought one that didn't like it im sure they would have posted something negative already. this is after all an open forum. especially with all the doubt floating around. Id say this product is tried and true. if your not going to buy it then why bother pestering this thread?

seems to me that if you will pay more for an aftermarket intake and might not see any gains. Why bother with questioning this. - for those who have chosen that road.

I'm not worried about the difference between the graphs. It's a proven method to move power band down and the big difference in the graphs I would bet is the transmission.

Anyone know what rpm the auto locks up? Depending on whether the tires or engine were used to measure rpm I could see the torque converter multiplying the torque of an engine at higher rpm whith tires spinning at a slower speed.

I learned alot about torque converters at the last place I worked. Was fascinated watching those 2300hp Cummins shift into lockup and shake the the trailer at full throttle, or slowly slip into gear by playing with the throttle and load.

Finally got the new dyno graphs! Had to drive all the way to the shop to pick them up. They scanned them but were too light to see. Got the hard copies now uploaded here:

is the difference between manual and auto really different by about 12hp and 30ft/lb? or does the manual have other add ons?

nice to see the huge improvement below 4k rpm. thats where 95% of driving takes place

They were both pretty much stock as far as I remember. The only difference off the top of my head is that the manual transmission was a 2006 and the auto is a 2011. There was some discussion over whether the 11 had a slightly different engine configuration of the newer FJ. Not sure other than that , they both had stock engine and exhaust setups.

Ah I see. The 12+ has more emission controls, which could play a role. Namely, the air pump and stock exhaust manifold.

Anyway, glad you got your dyno up, now take that nay sayers!

I'm still super happy with mine. With all the gear and crap I have on my truck it honestly doesn't feel like I'm carrying anything at all in the back. Only thing I still have to do is modify the brackets. But it's not a deal breaker. I don't have that annoying rattle that others were talking about so I'm not concerned.

Thanks again Nathan! (Pretty sure it's Nathan.)

It seems the first set of sheets has been removed. So we cannot compare these to the prior. I remember the originals to note the spacer on the first run and removed on the second for both trucks. Would it be too much trouble to repost the originals?

If the users are content with their purchases, then nothing said here matters.

I can post anything you want, though they were the exact same graphs, only the measurement increment numbers changed. Before they were odd numbers because that was what the dyno program had calculated due to the original start and stop rpms. The new graphs are the same but the numbers were put into even increments.
