    Hello:

I did a search but cannot find the discussion (link) on iridium spark plugs. I'm looking for a replacement for the standard K20HR-U11 - 90919-01235 plugs for a 2014 Tacoma 4 liter V6.

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

I'm in complete agreement with swapping to iridiums on the first swap. I'm not into the designer plugs, i think they are snake oil, but extending my next plug swap to 100k, that's what I talking about.

I have 85K on NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs. Engine idles fine and MPG remains 15-17, but on acceleration, I'm starting to feel the engine hesitate a bit. Will install new ones when the old ones hit 90K.

Edit note: I randomly checked a plug every oil change - 10K, from about 30k to 60K.

I installed NGK iridium's when I first bought my truck over 6 years ago. I replaced them this summer with OE Denso coppers - after about 70,000 km (45,000 miles). The ground electrodes were badly worn, and the gaps were .060 - .068" when they started out at exactly .044". Installing correctly gapped denso's restored some fuel mileage, idle was way smoother again, and a the butt dyno results were a bit better too. I see no point to using iridium plugs in the 1GR if the life is going to be that short anyway.

I've had good results with them in the wife's corolla though.
