    its been 2 years with this truck and i still cant get over all the little things toyota skimped on with the tacomas. my 2000 chevy blazer ZR2 had heated mirrors, moon roof, power seats, compass, thermometer, etc. my 2010 tacoma has an inverter... with the outlet in the bed...

    So last time I was at rausch creek I flattened my alignment cam tabs, so I ordered the total chaos cam tab gussets. The truck is with Bob from carrols rod and Racecraft right now. Ill post some pictures when I get a chance.

    Also I'm picking up a set of 255's this weekend. Can't wait to mount them and see how they look.

    Got the tires mounted today..
    255/85/16 Maxxis Big Horn's on 1st gen alloy wheels. Instead of typical wheel weights I'm using Dyna Beads. Seem to work great. Ride home was smooth. The plan is to use these for offroading and continue to use my duratracs for most of my driving until they are worn out, and then decide what to do based on how I like the 255's.

    If you didn't have a DCLB I'd say this thread blows almost as much as Scott's. But you do so it's cool! On another note, got the box all setup and adjusted the latches. Snow got inside last night lol

    Yea well its about to really suck in like a month when my rear bumper gets here.. :p

    Glad you got the box all figured out. I did notice the latches needed to be adjusted.. Seemed like there was some play in the lid.

    The cool thing about my new tires is that they are available in quad sizes too :D

    I use krylon dual in satin black for all my armor, wheels, and rust or scratches on the frame. It's paint and primer in one so I think it might be a little better than just paint.
