just got my light racing UCA's

    Full OME lift with Dakars, 886s and LR UCA's, Firestone air bags w\ onboard compressor, 2 kicker CVT 10" subs , MB Quart 1000w amp ,Alpine media player
    hey so i just got my LR uca's today super pumped to put them in this weekend. I just had a few questions for some of u guys who have installed them. I understand how to postion the ball joint washers with the spc logo facing the tire to achiev the 2 degrees of caster until i get to the shop for the alignment and it should be okay. Im just not sure how i should set the sliding adjustment of the ball joint to the arm for camber adjustment, I just want to be close enough so when i drive 15 miles to the shop to align it , that its not gonna give me major problems, thanx if u guys have any advice thatd be great

    I put mine where it is indicated on the instructions

    The neutral setting , adding the 2* of built in caster , is " D " on these instructions .

    holy crap! $450!!!!! A lift kit cost less than that, but to correct what the lift does you have to spend $450?!?!?! I'm not going ever be able to afford them, UGH!

    I have a AAL for $70, 3" spacers for $100, longer rear shocks where $60. been using the front spacers for 6 years now without one problem. However, I have a prerunner and therefore do not off road it like a 4x4, so for me it works fine.

    ya exactly you dont offroad therefore you dont need the capabilities an actual lift kit would provide, it works for some, im not denying that, but IMO spacer lifts are junk either way, whether you offroad or not the quality of the ride they provide sucks

    um, I have had them off and on a couple of times and there isn't much difference in ride. The biggest thing is when I come down off of a speed bump you can hear a noise from the coils coming unloaded but that's about all.
    If I where to have a 4x4 I may look into something else?
    But back to the point. I think if money wasn't an issue than I would just assume get a LT if I was going to go thru all of this, LOL!
    Anyway, to the OP hope it works out.

    i understand how to postion the caster adjustment to the neutral setting i just wasnt sure what would be a good spot for the sliding camber adjustment slot before i got it aligned
