I’m going to look into both of these. My wife’s venza has the same issue on passenger side. Pisses me off.

Use these. My floormats haven't budged since I installed them in February 2017.

This is where I bought them...

    https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-volkswagen-audi-parts/floor-mat-screws-black/3d0061796b41/

Note that you need to order both parts.. the rings that attach to the mats, and the screw-in part that attaches to the carpet.

This is what they look like when installed...

0xTtSFaCTUOYJlo2FUcPwA.jpg I did this mod with my 2017 truck. I just went to the dealership and ordered the OEM carpet retainers for the drivers side. I placed my 2018 weathertech floor liners and traced where the carpet retainers would go. Then I place a wood block to lift the carpet a bit and cut the two holes where I had traced the carpet retainers earlier. On the retainer closest to the driver side you have to peel some of the insulation back in order to get retainer clips to fully click and lock. Once this is done, slide insulation back and re adjust the carpet and put back the rocker panel and enjoy your new floor mats.

My truck has the retainer things on both sides. Is that uncommon?

I paid $30.00 for two OEM carpet retainer clips.

Just got Eagle Klaws. They seem to work great. I’ll update after using them for awhile.
