Any connection here? Not super concerned with the temp reading but the keyless entry not working is a PITA. I posted up about this 4 years ago and never got it resolved - well, since then I've got two kids and the lack of keyless is killing me. I also can not unlock the passenger door with my key so I'm walking to the drivers door and opening it to press the button to lock and unlock every time.
I searched but only came up with my old threads. I think the two are related and maybe there is a new board I can buy for the overhead console? what about an alarm with keyless entry? Does it count on the current system working in order to operate properly?

I thought I'd sell the taco but since its awesome, and paid for and my kids are expensive I figure its my forever truck and its time to get some issues addressed - this is on the top of that list!

    TIA

Don't know for certain but I would hazard a guess they are independent of each other. There is a good guide on here to check and fix a broken overhead temp console. Mine wasn't working and I followed the step by step in the how to fix guide and 15 minutes later it was in business.

For the keyless entry I would first look for a blown fuse and see if it's that simple.

Thanks. I fixed the console issue years ago and its since broken again so I can take another look at that but my real concern is the keyless. Just wondering if the 2 were anyway related. Seems not.
Any ideas on the keyless issue besides a fuse. I checked all fuses and they are cool. The keyless went out gradually over time and yes I also changed batteries and even purchased and programmed a new fob.
