I called my dealer about this today and got denied as well. They stated it was only for up to 2011 as others have mentioned.

It's an absolute joke when I hook up my boat.

I just got my Sport on Monday; and it has 4 leafs, including the overload. I've already decided to go Dakar. I want the lift anyway, and this will eliminate any future issues - with the stock springs or the dealer. Besides - Dakars are only like $400 - a pretty easy investment.

The TSB comes from the factory on the DCLB Sport. OZ has already dealt with the description to determine who has it. If you want the TSB, fill your bed with 500 lbs. and drive it to the dealership so they can see the springs. This should do it if the sag is significant. If not; call Toyota direct and let them know the issue. Several members have been given assistance at the local level after doing this.

I had the TSB done on my '08. Still sags and my leafs are flat or bend backwards with just a cap on the back and a few odds and ends. Just got my ride rites in the mail yesterday. Looking forward to getting them on.

So, given that the 2013's are not included in this TSB and the Offroad models have 3 spring packs instead of 4... if my brand new TRD Offroad's rear end starts to sag i'm pretty much stuck going aftermarket? I'm not wanting more than an inch or inch and a half of lift, ever.. so that kind of limits my aftermarket choices doesn't it?

I had my dealer look into a TSB for the wifes 2012 Offroad... said only for 11's and that the problem was fixed for the 12 model... I told him I still had a 3 spring leaf in the back and could sit on the tailgate and drop the truck 1.5". Said there's nothing they could do unless Toyota issued a TSB

I tried calling on the phone and they denied that it was true so I found the link to the*tsb*nd brought it to them and they showed me it was true. So they are ordering my parts and will be calling when they are in. The key words for this to happen is my truck is giving me a harsh ride when I have a load in the bed. I got the '13 TRD OR also with 2+ overload (JOKE) Even got the Tow pkg. I can not imagine that it will take them too long to correct this and issue us the TSB but will prob be at least a yr (dont hold ur breath). I looked a a lot of options and decided to go this route from wheelers. 1.5" Lift Heavy Duty 3 Leaf Progressive Add A Leaf Kit:159.95
A 3 leaf progressive racing style Add A Leaf set. Same as above except we've increased the thickness of leafs 2 and 3 by 1mm for heavier applications. Works with or without your factory overload leaf. Comes with longer U-bolts.

Basically your own TSB+ without having to buy totally new leaf's.

Also looked at 4wd's Option. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/194386-tacoma-spring-refurbishing.html

Both viable options =) Screw waiting til mine are flat.

I was shocked when I looked back there after picking it up. I thought surely they didn't give me a 2 spring pack (Yeah I know its 2+ overload but its really 2) with the Tow Pkg. RAT BAS*ARDS.

Dakars look great but not really wanting to drop that much on brand new spring when these are fine and just need a lil (LOT) of help. These are thicker and I will prob just remove the overload and add the others to what I have depending on the design.

Will be a true 5 leaf then :)

If the majority of the Taco were actually used as trucks, then they would be sprung better...

On the other hand, Consumer Reports gave them a lousy review because of the "rough ride" and "truck like handling" and said it made a lousy family car compared to a minivan.

Meanwhile, my '11 access cab has the TSB and can hold a full load of green oak and maple logs...and the current load of logs is going to a mushroom farmer for shiitake mushroom production. Delivery over Sam's gap on the NC/TN line is in the morning.
