Katskinz are nice but are they really $300+ better than clazzios? You can customize the clazzios too and they only cost around $450.

The clazzios are just slip-on covers. The Katzkins replace the factory cloth... and yes they are that much better. IMO anyway.

Ok, but it would be nice to tell people WHY they are $300 better. Looking at the pictures I can't see any difference between them and my clazzios, and the slip on thing doesn't really make a difference. Also, can you do katskinz yourself or do they need an installer? Not trying to argue, just trying to get all the facts for people who haven't made up their minds yet.

I think they are $300 better because they are not just slip-over covers. They replace the fabric and hug the seat contours very tightly. They are very customizable with colors, 2-tones, stitching, and work great with seat warmers.

I had mine installed at a shop. There is a write-up somewhere on this site if you care to try it yourself.

I installed mine and I just recently installed some for my Dad. After riding in my truck he had to have them as well. The install for katzkins is not that difficult at all. I followed one of the install threads on here for mine and didn't even need it for my Dads truck the second time around.

I have the leather on my'08 and absolutely love them. Check the junk yards near you and see if there are any there.

I'll just leave it at this, if you're looking to get leather at least read my thread and the couple other threads about Clazzio before deciding you don't like them. Everything that has been said about the katskinz is also true of the clazzios, except the installation time. It only took me 3 hours by myself to do it and they fit just as tight as it looks like the katskinz fit.
How much did you pay Total for the seat covers after paying somebody to install them?
    Here's some threads to compare-

in my option the clazzios mute the contours of the seat and give the seats more of a couch look.

there's a trade off with the speedy easy installation time. still a good looking product no doubt.

to me; the looks, quality, brand reputation (ask any auto/marine upholstery shop), and 100% customization was worth the small premium. as an added bonus, you'll get the katzkins in 3 weeks, vs. 10-12.

The Clazzio's are fine if thats what somebody wants. Like B737 said, I feel they make the seats look too bulky. I considered the Clazzios but I am extremely pleased that I chose Katzkin.

Another option that should be mentioned is Road Wire which like Katzkins are a complete replacement not just covers.

I put Clazzio's in my 2005 and I'm thrilled with them. They were easy to install and they look great. I think you'll be very happy with them.

Got an email from Clazzio indicating that 2011 model will not fit 2013. They linked me to a 2013 model, but double cab only which means I would be paying for rear seats I can't use.

    Guess I will keep looking
