Family first. I should be ready to buy when you offer the Stealth Mounts again.

Recently installed a bar in the bumper..being in NY, you have to have a front plate, so I just moved mine up. To be honest, I like the look of the higher plate anyways
Install was a breeze, and I only had to trim out the bottom corner of the bumper insert. Took maybe 45min total to mount the bar and install the switch.

Wondering if anyone has heard of light bars being stolen from the lower grill? Seems like it would be a bit more difficult than roof mounted bars.

Yeah, I've heard that.. That's why I swapped my bolts to security Torx, and loctited them in. The advantage to having a 30" bar in the lower grille is that there's no room for an allen wrench to get in there. Couple bucks for peace of mind is worth it.

Well came on here to inquire about getting a mount but I see that is no longer an option. Can anyone assist me on other options for mounting?

    Thanks!

does having the light bar installed inside the lower grill of the 2016 effect the spread of the light?

If you want a spot only (4D), then there is not any noticeable interference with the Stealth mount, it shines out just fine and lights up at a distance great. Now if you are wanting the flood lighting from say a 3D spot/flood combo LED then you will lose a little bit of flood lighting, but not a lot. You basically lose the real wide flooding because the LED is set back a 1.5" behind the grill. But you still get a good amount and people have had nothing but great feedback on the amount of light they get from the Stealth location.

I do not. But there are some shared photos and descriptions from people in this thread that may help.

    Nothing noteworthy
I got in on the recent GB and picked up the stealth mount and the 3D led. Super stoked to get them and install. I will post some pics as soon as the install is complete including output shots.

I have Rigid pods on ditch light brackets so I am not too worried about losing some flood on the sides as the pods will provide that lighting for me.

These look great! I'll keep these in mind for the future, might be needing a set as in planning a cross country drive from Alaska to New York for my PCS drive. No LED bars on the truck yet but figure they might be cheap insurance driving the wilderness highways through Canada!
