The halo's look cool. I have the 2nd gen. ccfl projectors. If you want the best possible light output then the retrofit is the way to go. I am thinking about doing the retrofit on my stock lights. You should deffinately do some research on it first. The retrofit is kinda expensive but from what i've seen the light output is amazing! Good luck

I have the 3rd Gen Halo Projector's with 8000k HID's and I hate them lol.. Not very bright at all, Well the HID's aren't bad. Better than stock but I'm deff doing the retrofit ASAP. The Halo's in mine are extremely dim and I can't figure out why. I don't recommend them.. Just my 2 cents from my experience with them..

Don't ever buy that ebay light setup. It screams tacky and low quality. I made the mistake of buying some HIDs for my chevy. Light output was the worst. I threw them away. My buddy had some for his 08 taco and the light output was crap. Go with the retro fit, or just stick with the stock lights with HID kits. Just my 2 cents worth also.

Sorry, but that isn't true. Nothing will represent a true projector.

Alright, I think I'll just stick with the HID kit I ordered from DDM Tuning :)
    Thanks!

keep in mind if you just throw in HID bulbs to the stock headlights you will get nothing like what the pics show, you'll just have a wall of light that will blind people for miles

How much does it cost to retro-fit a set of lights?

I have stock housing headlights with an HID kit with 6K bulbs and i like the output of them. They arent as good as the retrofits but def better then stock. I say keep your order.;)

That's what I had ordered (for fog also), but until I understand why "adding" an HID kit to your existing headlights is something else than retrofitting one, I'll stay away.

(Silly me, I thought modding something new (HID) into something old (stock) and make it fit and work was retrofitting..)

When you retrofit you are basically taking a oem projector from let's say a Lexus and retrofiting it into your stock lights.
