Such a nice ride Boxrocket... Nice tire rack too did you make it?

Also I must have those wheels in the second pic, are they OEM TRD 17''?

Picking up my bumpers from the powdercoater tomorrow. I'll post pics tomorrow evening..

Everything looks great on your truck Boxrocket!!

I am thinking about the TG bumper for weight reasons........is that (shown on yours) the optional light bar and tab kit offered by Trail Gear that you weld on yourself?

Will this set-up accept a warn M8000 winch with ease?

    Thanks

Not to take over for him but yes its the optional light bar and the tabs probably are to but are easily makeable so idk about them and yes it should hold that winch with ease as long as you wont mind chopping up the grill for the winch solenoid to fit unless its re-movable and then you can mount it under the hood lik i plan to do

Is it a retarded idea to consider mounting the solenoid in the cab? Less worries about weather related damage and 9 out of 10 times, I'll be winching while sitting in the cab...

Hell nah, thats actually an idea i didnt even think about
I was going to mount mine on top of the passenger fender well since i have absolutely nothing there but i ahvent looked much into the whole solenoid thing...does it just sit up on top of the winch and by moving it all that would have to be done is just to extend the wires into it right??

Yeah I would assume all you would have to do is extend the wiring. The XRC8 solenoid is fairly small and just clamps to the rods above the drum. I don't know about the others though... some look fixed to the winch assembly.

Ive always wondered if it was just clamped cause it sure just looked like it from pics ive seen and i actually got to see the wuperwinch lp8500 in person and talk to a guy with it and the solenoid on it is just screwd to the side witha bracket so it should move fairly easy as well and i also just got an email from Amazon for the LP8500 for 313.95 shipped :bananadance:

Yes I made the tire carrier.

Wheels are Ulta Motorsports En4cer Type 181's 15x8. I painted them and added the TRD sticker. Looks ok I think ;)

Already been answered but yes, TG lightbar added, and it comes with lighttabs. Yep welded it up myself

Warn M8000 will fit fine. Solenoid could be tricky as has been mentioned. Mounting the solenoid under the hood is a good option and not that difficult. The other option I am considering is to build some custom solenoid brackets so it can still me mounted on top of the winch but not have to cut into the grill.
