Line-x

Okay, i have come to notice quite a few small dents and scratches on my truck This is mainly from parkinglot wars and trail riding and hunting trips. My question is how much do you think it would cost me to line-x my whole truck or would you even considder doing that, has anyone done this? pics? I requested a quote and they havent gotten back to me yet so i figured i would ask my friends on tacomaworld!

What color would you use? Black? From my experiance of having line x on my silverado bed I would never think about doing my whole truck. After the years go by it lost its color. But hey and I dont mean it in a sarcastic way...its your truck.

 

ya thats what i heard but they came out with some new stuff that is fade resistant so it wont loose the color, its some kevlar something

 

I would do the bottom portion of the truck hands down. I wana do that years down the road once I lift mine and gear it for wheelin more

 

do rhino line.....its more rubberized and not as sharp (if you will) as linex

 

I have been thinking seriously about this too. The link goes to an FJ build where a guy did this. He was able to bring in a can of spray paint and have the Line-x guys color match his truck to it. He did a really top of the line anal-retentive job and it cost him I think 3500. Again, same as a new paint job.

yea Ive seen some good color matched line-x jobs in the beds of show trucks. im not sure if all shops could do a color match but that would be cool to have the rocker panels lined the same color of the truck

yup, but if the place doing it screws up, Line-X customer service sucks.
