Machined Ring for Hilux Lighted 4x4 switch!!

Received my Ring and Switch! Waiting for a good day to do this mod as well as a couple of other mods!

 

Pics when its done! Very simple and straightforward as long as you dont rush anything.

 

Very cool! Wish it fit my truck. Does anyone know of any illuminated OEM Toyota 4x4 switch for the 2005-2011 models?

 

I know some have done the 4runner and tundra switch. Im not positive, but I believe the tundra switch needs slight trimming, and the 4runner switch snaps into place(but its bulky) at least for the 2012-2015. THese are the only 3 options Im aware of. Hope this helps!

And I thought that someone sold the whole switch ready to go but I cannot seem to locate a thread so maybe I am mistaken.

 

Thank you both for the help! Looks like there's not really a clean option to replace the early 2nd gens. The 4-Runner switch can be made to fit, but as kgarrett11 said, it's very bulky. Thanks again guys!

Surprisingly, my switched showed up in about 10 days. Got the switch, ring, and black surround ready to go, but I did forget to order the terminals.

@kgarrett11 is the turn dial on the hilux switch same as the tacoma switch? I know that the switch itself is slightly smaller.

I would just get rid of that. The ring is silver so you will still have the same silver accent. Or who knows, it might actually fit

 

I was just curious... I'll test it & find out! Also, I want red leds instead of the blue. What does it on avg cost yo ship one of these switches? I know its $6 on Ebay but didn't know otherwise...

 

I don't mail the switches. Just the rings. Probably like 6 bucks if I had to guess
