Installing my spindles tomorrow with a friend.
Any last minute tips for install? List of helpful tools would be great.
I'm gonna try removing my bilsteins/coils without a compressor using the 'raise lca then undue top bolt ' method.
If I'm setting billies at 0, do I need a compressor to re-install the coil on the shock?

Just do the reverse of removal. Set the coil on the shock body and spring perch, jack up the LCA and guide the upper shock bolt into the top hat and make sure the coil is seating properly at the top side when doing so, so when it starts compressing with the LCA you just need to get the bolt on and torqued, and the coil is properly located.

    That makes perfect sense thanks.
One more question, since I'm removing the coil and shock as well as the stock spindle, should i do one before the other not unbolt the lca until the shock is out ?

Can't answer that one as I've never touched my spindle.

If possible spray all the bolts tonight with PB blaster or something like that that way it has all night to soak in.
I would take the spindle out first, you're gonna need that little bit more movement from th LCA to get the strut out. Not to mention the spindle kinda gets in the way, it's a lot easier with it wide open.
Oh & make sure you have some wire or small bungee cords to hang your calipers out of the way. I'd also suggest something to cut the brake line brackets that bolt to the spindles, they hit the swaybar end links if you don't cut them.
Red is where I cut, from dot to dot & green is where it rubbed before I cut it.
    2016-12-05 19.52.34.jpg

I'll try to remember all the tools.
    sockets & wrenches-
    10mm, 17mm, 19mm & 15/16 for the new Maxtrac bolts
10mm flare nut wrench for the brake lines
    Torque wrench
I may be forgetting something but I think that's it.
Here's all the torque specs, ft lbs is the # in the right. If you're doing the rear the pic shows 37 ft lbs for the U bolts but it's really 73 ft lbs.

A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
You can do it all at once. If you're replacing both shock and spindle, I would remove the spindle first thing. With the spindle out of the way, you'll have more room to maneuver the shock. Just be sure to hang the brake caliper out of the way as well. Bungie cords, coat hangars, twine, or anything such as those work well for that. Once the shock is removed, put the new one in next thing, loosely putting everything back together, then spindle, then tighten all that up, get your wheel bearing on and make sure those four bolts are at least three grunts tight if you don't have a crows foot for your torque wrench. Then you work on brakes, then bam, you got it.

I'd love to get rid of my Fuel's & get Ray 10's in gunmetal.

My install is delayed until Friday. Can't decide whether to go with .85 or 0 (stock coils) on the billies. Love having clearance but need a comfy ride

Just did mine this past weekend. At 0, it'll still feel stock. At .85 which what I did, feels planted. I was worried about the ride quality but it rides amazing. Smooth and absorbs everything. I also used my stock coils

Thank you kind sir! Im super thankful to the guys on this forum who actively put out such great information(which is why I went with these spindles and knew what to do when it came time to install!).
Also, the Ray 10's will not disappoint, they're even sexier in person!

Luckily only a little fender & fenderwell trimming and I clear for street driving and minor off-road use! Might have to chop the cab mount down the road though.
Too bad im in SoCal, or else I'd toss you my stock spindles.
