ok guys so i was doing the mod above and i ran into a problem...

    1. i got the new bulb in and hooked up the led pad, no problem
    2. i went to turn it on and nothing
    3. so i unplugged the pad and switched the conection around (red to black black to red wrong yes i know) but it WORKED
    4. went to put the little light cover back on and the thing turn off
    5. long story short no matter what combo of spining and adjusting i do the LED pad wont work
    6. i go to plug in the stock bulb and nothing, no matter how i spin of adjust it.

so i think i might have blow a fuse of something electrical since the stock one wont even work. thats why i am asking here instead of in the how-to forum.

    stock, for now
check the fuses under the dash..thats kind of an obvious first place to start. Next, make sure none of the bulbs are blown or no good.
