    One of the guys with an open order got that word from them maybe a week ago - something to the tune of "we're winding down the business." Shortly after that was posted, the website went offline and the phone was turned off.

    It's weird because I have a Pelfreybilt front bumper and Mobtown front and transfer case skids, tailgate cap/reinforcer... Does that mean the other fabs I've got stuff from should be worried? (Relentless weld-on sliders and BAMF LCA skids)

    That's unlikely to go anywhere - if he put the order in weeks/months ago those funds have cleared and won't have the same coverage as a credit card purchase. He'll either need to be made whole by Mobtown via a refund, delivery of a rack, or he'll have to take it to small claims.

    I'm curious when he ordered, though, as Mobtown has supposedly been only listing in stock items for 6+ months.

    Already working with the bank. I have Navy Federal and luckily they are pretty good about this. They credited my account for the money for now. And the investigation will determine whether or not I keep the money. We will see what happens. I ordered on June 20th. This would all be easier if I was not currently on the other side of the world with spotty wifi.

    Well, they said they were only selling things they had in stock. If you made that purchase with that in mind and it was never actually in stock, maybe Navy Fed will call it fraud and only go after Mobtown. Good luck, man, at least Navy Fed is good people.
