The truck thing is a non issue.
Your just dating, sounds like a new relationship, no need to worry about this now.
The thing that sticks out to me is the trip with friends. It's cool if she just say, go alone, you'll have more fun without me, but the making fun of you and your friends part, THAT's a big issue for me. Get her out and see how she acts aorund them.

As far as hot/ugly and using the light switch to neutralize the effects....

Just for sake of conversation, does it matter how a girl acts around your friends if in the privacy of your own interactions she basically strips you of all your masculinity? And does it matter if she takes your manhood away and your response is to ask the internet what to do about a girlfriend who doesn't respect your car choice?

If a man works hard it doesn't matter what he drives, I know several hard ass workers who drive 90s Civic's to work and carry all their tools in them. You think their girlfriend is going to give them a hard time? Fuck no, they get it DONE.

Now if you have an F350 dually and your clothes are always clean, your hands are soft and your neck is pale, do you think a woman is going to think you're manly because of the truck? Again, fuck no. You're a flower in a bigger pot, is all, still dainty and delicate.

If I may propose an idea to the group, it's that OP doesn't work his truck or himself too much, or at least to her normal standard of what makes a man and what makes a man's work truck. If she had respect for HIM in the first place, it wouldn't matter what he drove, especially about what his friends drive for that matter. She sounds like a raving bitch (though she likely appreciates hard working men), but I doubt she's without her reasons. My guess is her perception is skewed because she's dissatisfied with OP.

Having a truck more capable of wheeling doesn't matter if you don't wheel anymore than having a truck that can haul or tow if you don't actually haul or tow.

All jokes a side: Talk to her and let her know you feel offended by her comment if you would like to keep her in your life! Otherwise she thinks she can say whatever she wants and you don't care at all, ask her why she is with you? If she can't answer - TINDER APP!

Both matter. If it just friendly ribbing about your truck, be a man and take it. If she beats you down over every little thing... there is a hot line and shelters to help you escape. If she is a bitch to your friends, than it doesn't matter, time for her to go. Unless her dad owns a gun or liquor store, then she is a keeper no matter what!

Yea I think it matters how a girl acts during all situations, alone or not. It's all about respect to me. If you don't show respect, none can be given, and the relationship is just a waste of time if that is the case. No amount of ass is worth being condescended/degraded over.

Both matter for sure, but if she doesn't respect you to your face and then slams your friends after that, does it matter if she acts differently around them? Doesn't sound like she's ribbing him, which is why I ask.

Any woman who disrespects her man is a bitch, but if the man doesn't deserve her respect she has no reason to hand it out freely. If you deserve respect and you don't get it then move along to another, but respect is earned not expected. Too many soft men these days because women want pussies to shop with, but I find it hard to believe a half decent woman with a legit man gives a damn about what he drives. So either she's on the bottom shelf or he is, IMO.

I guess the OP must be making her a :sandwich: and washing her truck. Who cares about the comparison between a ford and toyota there is no comparison. Both trucks do different things. but seriously OP why no picture of your so called GF?
