more like swing up. Its going to be pretty trick if it all works out.

I got the ammo cans from an army surplus site... Its the same one that everyone gets the d-rings from that fit the bed bolts. they were $12 a can i believe, and I shot them with bedliner in a can ( rustoleum).

I will shoot this with the same stuff

I will likely mock it up with one of my current tires, I need to get a full size spare, but the tire has been backordered on tirerack for months ( I get a good deal through TR, so I have to wait). I plan to move up to 35" red labels when these are worn out, so I will make sure this can handle it.

I will paint it like it is, and then add the tire portion later i think. I need to piece together the hardware and bracketry for it.

Bed Bar phase one all painted up ( Rustoleum Spray Bedliner)

A shot at my welding job ( not to bad for not welding in over 4 years)

I got it in the truck today. Hi lift mount idea worked out great. The foot is in one of the ammo cans to let me tuck it all really close to the front of the bed

The cheapo fog lights will have to go ( 10 bucks from HF) i think they will just break off if I hit them with anything lol.

and a shot to show how it sit up to the front of the bed.

I am waiting on my contura bed light switch to get here and I will wire them up.

Phase II will be a swing up tire carrier and a matching spare (if I can find one)

I am super happy with the out come

This is a good build to read for the lift you have ;) also come check in HERE.

Making room for the front tires should be easy, save monies for new leafs and regear....

You didnt screw yourself with the 35s, I was on the fence between 33s and 35s when I ordered my tires. I plan to run 35s when I need new tires ( at 4K a year it will take a while :)), and I plan to regear.

I have more then enough power to push them, but I want to stay in the powerband for daily driving.

As for rubbing, trimming is about your only option with the basic kit. Trim the fender flares and do the cab mount chop. I had a little rubbing at full lock with my 33s, but I only have a little plastic trimmed from the fender flares

I only used the front drop brackets from the FT kit. I pieced the rest together.

if you save the coin and get the Icons, you can adjust them and they ride like butter, especially in the sand..

and yes this does seem like a good subscrip to be on, your build is awesome i would looove to s/c my truck gotta love the sound of them bad boys. also interested in that trac bar being that it is only one do you lose any flex with it?

I have not done it on my truck, but plan to do so when I got to 35s.

I also plan to have the Icons rebuilt to extended travel with Resis and go to a uniball upper CA.

I will leave it that way while its still fairly new, until its my toy and I can design my own front setup ( I want to SA it and 3 link with 37s and a low stance)

The trac bar is designed to not limit flex. It has an high angle rod end at the front mount and being center mounted, it pivots only.

I have a ton of droop, so I am a little curious how it will do when I pick the truck up on the way so see if it limits that
