    @N2DesignsInc - If we update, can we wait till warmer weather (it's fucking cold here bud...) and still have it work "sometimes" before we re-teach the module?

    Sure...but I still want your info or else you’re not getting an update as they’re pushing it on an individual basis. The push may not let a “sometimes” operation unless re-taught and you should not wait on receiving this update, so light a bonfire and layer up Rob. Then at least you’ll have a warm truck rest of winter not “sometimes”. Don’t make me come out there in shorts and tank and do it for you!

    UPDATE - THOSE EXPERIENCING SMART MODULE ISSUES ONLY - PURCHASED ON OR BEFORE 1-28-18


    PM me your FULL NAME (First, Last), and your 16 Digit Serial Code that can be found on the doorjamb sticker you should've placed on your vehicle, or via app by going through the following screens up above in my post #1263.

    The update will only be pushed to those who've experienced issues. If you've purchased ON or after January 29th, do not join this list, as this is beta and could conflict. You have the latest. Any issues you see, are likely location of mounting, orientation, or spotty signal. If you do something that causes more issues, you'll be responsible for shipping both ways for a re-flash.

    With that said, I'm going to keep a spreadsheet log, will look up order dates and keep track of everything, mainly because those who truly have been inconvenienced, will be getting credit time lost on their free year and are the ones that need it asap. They will be pushing it out one by one, so once you've been pushed the update, I'll be notified, then they'll push the next person, and so on.

    YOU WILL HAVE TO RE-SYNC (RE-TEACH THE SMART MODULE TO THE REMOTE STARTER NOT THE REMOTE STARTER TO THE VEHICLE)

    PM me only if you bought it from me.

    Please PM me your info asap so I can start submitting and getting you guys fixed.

    Would like to report that this has fixed it for good for those who had issues and submitted the info required for me to get the update pushed directly to you. Both gentlemen that have received the push, and have re-installed the hardware as if it were freshly received, are reporting NOT one issue any longer.

    Only three submitted their request and have been taken care of, thought there were a couple more, where you guys at?

    Anyone else? Like I said, only a handful, literally. So far only a single handful from the hundreds sold from Black Friday 2018 until January 28th 2019. I was expecting maybe 1.5 to 2 handfuls at most from what I've tracked unofficially...well this is great news and not a bad ratio! With that said, I'll address free time on your year credited back as soon as I'm done with the primary goal of no Tacoma left behind.

    Your beer would be colder, technically. Leave it outside. I'll bring the warm weather, not a problem; soonest flight I could get due to work would be my vacation, August 1st. Cold beer at that time can be attained by refridgerating, it so make room.

    Tried it at home just now and can confirm that it started no problem. 60 miles from my last location. Happy customer right here.

    You can ship the beer to N2 Designs, Inc.'s shipping department, just put RMA blah blah blah on it so my boss doesn't find out. I'll make sure to toast with Jeremie via face-time. I am just glad this is starting to be put behind us..it hasn't been a smoot road since the Black Friday...Back-orders, Blackouts, and so on...with that said.

    Everyone who has given me their serials has been submitted. You’ll need to log out and log back in to see the version number change but if you haven’t been contacted by me, your push is coming Monday. Then unplug the 4G module and start fresh with a new install. I’ll have instructions posted in our support section of our website. If you see just battery and signal strength, and even GPS, unplug just power to the 4G module (the black connection next to the blue to blue connection), wait a minute and replug it in and wait until the red and green are solid, sign out and kill your app, sign back in and wait a few minutes, if your battery and signal strength are still all you see, you didn’t sync correctly, start over.

    As it says, purchased on the 28, or before. Purchased on the 29 and after does not qualify as they were flashed differently.
