    I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
    Not bad at all. The other place had quoted me $150. I wrote on 4x's thread about the possibility of sending the bolt on plates with the sliders to make my own bolt ons but he hasnt responded yet.

    Hey Rob, What happened with your stock sport rims bubbling? I noticed some of my bubbles have popped and I can see the bare metal underneath. I wonder if it is worth taking it to the dealer to try and get some new rims.

    It is a huge problem with the new sport rims. I know rob had some luck with a local dealer.

    You have to sand them down before painting them if they start bubbling. My bubbles have popped and you can see the bare metal underneath.

    Yeah, I'd wire wheel them to get the heavy stuff off (if flaking), give them a hand sand to smooth out, use an etching primer and paint.

    What dealership did you go to? I am going to try the dealer route and if that is a no go then I will explore my options.
