    I have for sale a brand new in box Pop & Lock
    $100 PL5400 Black Manual Tailgate Lock with Bolt Codeable Technology for Toyota Tacoma
    PL5400 color matched to Speedway Blue. It has never been installed or coded for a key. I simply bought the wrong color and took too long to return so now I'm stuck with it. Looking to get it passed on so I can reinvest the funds in some other Tacoma goodies.
    I'll take $70 shipped in a USPS medium flat rate box. (Paid $107 for it) PayPal friends and family or add 3% for fees.

    Okay, I'll bite out of strictly curiosity and also a potential buyer... How did we get from HERE to where we are right now?

    Has the paint quality on these units been improved?
    How did you eventually end up with a SWB one after posting that you were filing for a return on your Indigo Ink one?

    Valid question, honest answer.
    I returned the color matched version and bought a standard black model. Shortly after using it for an extended trip I realized I regretted not going with the actuated/keyed model, as I found myself questioning if I had locked it all too often.
    Flash forward to finding a nice deal on this one with the actuator kit. I bought it up and used the actuator on my current setup. So basically now I have a new SWB
    $100 PL5400 Black Manual Tailgate Lock with Bolt Codeable Technology for Toyota Tacoma
    PL5400 that has never been used and am passing it on.

    I personally don't care for the paint quality, but apparently it's the standard with pop & lock. The color match seemed spot on.

    Might add that I'll trade (+$ on my end) for nice 7" driving lights. Or even mesh grill options for 12'+ models.

    Can you send a pic of the pop lock next to the truck? I had mine and it didnt match for shit. Curious if they corrected the paint.

    If I had a SWB truck I would more than gladly take a side by side photo. Sorry I don't have one. I do wish they carried that color onto the later years, I would have one for sure!
